How to choose wiper blades
Make sure to choose options that closely match the recorded measurements
Step 1: Preparation
- Carefully lift the existing wiper blade away from the windshield. Be cautious not to let it snap back onto the glass, as this can damage the windshield.
Step 2: Measure the Length of the Wiper Blade
- Measure the length of the wiper blade from end to end, along the rubber or silicone wiping element, starting from the attachment point (usually where the wiper arm connects to the wiper blade) and measure all the way to the opposite end.
Step 3: Measure Both the Driver's Side and Passenger's Side
- Make sure to measure both the driver's side and the passenger's side wiper blades, as they may be different lengths. In some vehicles, the driver's side wiper blade may be longer than the passenger's side.
Step 4: Choose the Right Replacement Wiper Blades
- When selecting replacement wiper blades, make sure to choose options that closely match the recorded measurements. Our wiper blade packaging will indicate compatibility with specific car makes and models, which can be helpful.
