The Autel MaxiBAS BT506 is a battery and electrical system analysis tool designed to accurately test cold cranking capacity and reserve capacity while providing a clear health status of a vehicle’s battery and electrical system. It works with a free smartphone app and supports testing for 6- and 12-volt batteries as well as 12- and 24-volt cranking and charging systems.
The BT506 can test flooded, AGM, AGM spiral, EFB, and GEL batteries, using adaptive conductance technology to reduce battery misdiagnosis and identify low-capacity batteries. It also helps reduce unnecessary charge-and-retest procedures and supports multiple battery rating standards including CCA, CA, MCA, JIS, DIN, SAE, IEC, EN, EN2, BCI, and GB.
With Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility with smart devices and Autel diagnostic tablets, the BT506 provides technicians with a convenient and accurate solution for battery diagnostics and electrical system testing.
